Refund Policy

Welcome to our refunds page. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and you may need to request a refund for our services. We want to make this process as easy and transparent as possible. Please read our refund policy below for more information on how to request a refund and the conditions that apply.

At Dental Mentor, we want you to be completely satisfied with your experience. That’s why we have a clear and comprehensive refund policy in place. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and we’re here to help. We’re committed to making the refund process as easy and transparent as possible, so you can feel confident and reassured when purchasing our services. Please check the specific refund policy for the service you’re interested in, as the timing for refund requests may vary depending on the type of service.

Please note that all refund requests must be received in writing, and cannot be processed via phone or voicemail. To officially request a refund, please use our online contact form. It’s important to note that refund timelines may vary depending on the type of service, so please check the specific refund policy for the product or service in question. Rest assured that we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and will do everything we can to process refunds in a timely and efficient manner.

In the UK, consumers have legal rights for requesting refunds for tickets and events, as well as for online courses. For tickets and events, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that consumers are entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly changed.

For online courses, consumers have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. However, if they have started to access the course materials or have already completed the course, they will not be entitled to a refund. It is important to check the terms and conditions of the course provider for specific refund policies and procedures.

We understand that circumstances can change, and we want our students to feel comfortable with their decision to pursue a dental, medic, or veterinary career and participate in our awards programme. That’s why we offer a 14-day cooling off period for students who register. During this time, you may change your mind about pursuing a dental/medical/veterinary career or participating in the awards programme itself as outlined on our website. Please note, once you have access to your e-learning materials, you will no longer be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to carefully consider your commitment before accessing the materials. Additionally, please note that if you decide to withdraw from the programme after the cooling off period, a refund will not be provided.

We understand that circumstances may change, and you may want to cancel your magazine subscription. We offer a full refund on any un-mailed issues of the magazine. To request a refund, please inform us by submitting an online contact form on our website. We ask that you cancel the direct debit in your bank account to ensure that no further payments are taken.

Please note that once you have received your first issue, we are unable to provide a refund for that issue. However, we will stop future issues from being sent to you upon receipt of your request to cancel the subscription. If you cancel your subscription before receiving your first issue, we will provide a full refund.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the refund request. Any refund will be issued to the original payment method.

We reserve the right to cancel your subscription at any time and for any reason. If we cancel your subscription, we will provide a full refund for any unmailed issues.

At Dental Mentor, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending our Summer School programme. However, we encourage all students to ensure that they are committed to pursuing a career in dentistry before enrolling. Please note that Summer School deposits are non-refundable beyond the 14 day cooling off period when registering. If you wish to cancel, please notify us at least 6 months prior to your start date. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 6 months of the start date cannot be refunded as expenses such as food, accommodation, books, and teaching have already been paid for. Additionally, as we hold your place and cannot offer it to another student at such short notice, we are unable to offer a refund in the case of travel issues or local restrictions preventing attendance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

We understand that making a purchase decision can sometimes raise questions or concerns. That’s why we offer a 14-day cooling off period for refunds on the UCAT Question Bank, Study Group, Tutoring and UCAT Mentoring packages. We want you to feel confident and comfortable with your choice. However, please note that once students start in the mentoring program or gain access to the UCAT question bank (or use it) a full refund will no longer be available even if you purchased your package within the 14 day cooling off period. If you have purchased a more expensive programme but later decide to switch to a smaller package within the 14-day cooling off period, we are here to support you. Simply reach out to us through the admin form, and we will assist you in making the change and arranging a partial refund. We can only do this if the tutoring/study group/question bank/e-learning has not already been accessed by yourself. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are important to us, and we are dedicated to providing a smooth and positive experience for all our students.
